After more than six years of supporting women through every stage of crisis, connection, and recovery at Protea Place Women’s Support Centre, we’ve learned just how important it is to create space for deeper, more focused support for continued recovery and wellbeing. .
That’s why the Apiary Women’s Community Hub was created.
The Apiary gives us the opportunity to grow something new — a space dedicated to connection, upskilling, and ongoing support for women as they move beyond crisis. While Protea Place continues its vital work as a crisis support centre, the Apiary allows us to strengthen pathways forward and build community in a more targeted and empowering way.
