Today we're celebrating a very special milestone—Sallie K's first year with Protea Place. 💜
Over the past 12 months, Sallie has brought exceptional leadership, kindness, compassion and wisdom to our team and to the women we support every day. As Program Manager of our Women’s Support Centre, she draws on more than 20 years' experience across homelessness, domestic and family violence, and the broader human services sector, leading with integrity and a deep commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred practice.
Before joining the community sector, Sallie served as a police officer with the QPS, bringing a wealth of experience and understanding to her work.
Sallie, thank you for your unwavering dedication, your calm and caring leadership, and the difference you make every single day. We are incredibly grateful and truly blessed to have you as part of the Protea Place family.
