We are incredibly grateful to St Mary’s College Toowoomba for supporting Protea Place through a wonderful BBQ fundraiser organised by student Ari 🌟🩷🌟

A heartfelt thank you to Ari for taking the initiative to organise the fundraiser and for choosing to support the important work of Protea Place. Your leadership, compassion and commitment to making a difference are truly inspiring.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the entire College community for supporting the fundraiser. Your contribution will help us to continue to provide support, safety and a place of connection for women in our community.

We particularly would like to acknowledge St Mary’s College for the important work you are doing to educate and empower young men to respect women and to understand that everyone has a role to play in creating a culture of safety and respect. Teaching students to recognise, challenge and call out unwanted and harmful behaviour towards women is such an important part of creating meaningful change.
